CIVITAS URBAN FREIGHT CONFERENCE 2018

Four European research projects of the CIVITAS network CITYLAB, NOVELOG, SUCCESS and U-TURN, presented their approaches for cleaner urban freight transport at a joint final conference in Brussels, 23/24 April 2018. Polis contributed to CITYLAB and NOVELOG as consortium member and organised the CIVITAS Urban Freight Conference.
The event was interactive and included presentations, debates, poster sessions and exhibitions, breakout and training sessions, workshops and awards. Over 150 participants participated in the event including high level representatives from the European Commission. The event also featured an interactive dialogue between European and US stakeholders.

CITYLAB, NOVELOG, SUCCESS and U-TURN are financed by the Horizon 2020 programme and are part of CIVITAS, a European network of cities which was launched by the European Commission in 2002 and encourages local authorities to engage in cleaner and better transport solutions. Since then, the CIVITAS initiative has tested and implemented over 800 measures and urban transport solutions in the context of various demonstration projects.

European Transport Research Review received first Impact Factor

The European Transport Research Review (ETRR), an open access journal co-funded by the European Conference of Transport Research Institutes (ECTRI) and featuring many articles across the fields of passenger, freight and infrastructure, now has an Impact Factor of 0.672 for 2015, released by Thomson Reuters in their Journal Citation Reports®.
