Book Review: Public Transport Planning and Management in Developing Countries

Mark Zuidgeest reviewed Public Transport Planning and Management in Developing Countries by Ashish Verma and T. V. Ramanayya.

Vol 57 p252 Zuidgeest

In his review Zuidgeest distinguishes between the transport supply and demand in cities in developing countries when compared to more developed counterparts.  He commends the book as an addition to the limited literature on this topic and summaries that this book is most suited to those with a specific interest in public transport planning and operations in India, as this the core geographical focus.  The review is available to read in full here.
