We are a group with global membership and a wide range of interests.
We hold our AGM during the Annual Conference of the RGS-IBG, where we generally have a full programme of high quality paper sessions. We are also proud to be able to have sponsorship from Ashgate Publishing for the annual Hoyle Lecture at the RGS Annual Conference, where we also present the Hay Award for outstanding contribution to transport geography. We also have an annual prize for the best paper presented in a TGRG session of the RGS-IBG by a post-graduate student.
When funding allows, we also encourage members to organise seminars and workshops to share work and set future research agendas. We also have strong links with the Journal of Transport Geography and encourage members to publish their findings in that journal.

TGRG is open to members and non-members of the RGS-IBG.

* If you are joining the RGS-IBG you can add TGRG to your research group membership when you join on-line
* If you are not a member of the RGS-IBG you may also join the TGRG, please send an e-mail to Kate Pangbourne
We communicate with our members using a JISC mailing list (RGS-TGRG). Joining TGRG is free of charge but please note that we are likely to introduce a small administration fee for non-RGS members this year.
